Russo Generation partners with Feng Chia University to launch the "Cybersecurity Technical Excellence Scholarship," offering up to NT$30,000 per recipient.

With extensive experience in red teaming, penetration testing, and cybersecurity consulting, Ruo-Suo Generation understands that a company's cyber resilience ultimately comes down to its people. Cybersecurity talent with a solid technical foundation and a drive for continuous learning is the industry's most scarce asset.

This is the core motivation behind our partnership with the Feng Chia University Master's Program in Information Security to establish this scholarship: we aim to provide more than just financial support—we want to help students bridge the gap to real-world industry perspectives early on.

Eligibility

1. 
   1. Status: Currently enrolled students (first or second year) in the Feng Chia University Master's Program in Information Security, as well as pre-admitted students.
2. 
   2. Academic Requirements: A minimum GPA of 70 in the most recent semester and a satisfactory conduct record (no disciplinary actions of a demerit or higher).0
3. 
   3. Technical Foundation: A strong interest in practical cybersecurity and a portfolio of technical achievements.

Required Application Documents

1. 
   1. Ruo-Suo Generation Cybersecurity Elite Scholarship Application Form (including personal information, academic status, and cybersecurity-related experience)
2. Proof of Enrollment (issued by the Office of Academic Affairs)
3. 
   2. Academic Transcript: A complete transcript for the most recent semester, bearing the school's official seal or electronic verification, including both academic and conduct grades.
4. 
   3. Reflection Paper: A report on your cybersecurity studies, not exceeding 2,000 words.
5. Proof of Technical Achievement: Submit at least one item from the following nine
   
   4. categories: cybersecurity competitions, bug bounty programs, CVE vulnerability research, open-source security tools, conference/international journal submissions, campus security club leadership, public community participation, or international cybersecurity certifications. Multiple submissions are allowed and will be weighted by quality.
6. 
   5. Letters of Recommendation: Two letters from a program director, advisor, professor, or a mid-to-senior level professional in the cybersecurity industry.

   6. Personal Data Consent Form (original copy to be submitted to the program office)

All supporting documents for the application must have been obtained between June 1, 2025, and May 31, 2026.

Evaluation Criteria

A review committee composed of members from the Feng Chia University Master's Program in Information and Communication Security and ZUSO Generation will conduct evaluations based on a 100-point scale:

• 
  1. Academic Performance: 30%
• 2. Information Security Learning Report: 20%
• 3. Technical Achievements: 50%

Awards

The total annual scholarship fund is NT$200,000, with a maximum of 10 recipients. Scholarships ranging from NT$5,000 to NT$30,000 will be awarded based on the quality of individual technical achievements, accompanied by a certificate of merit. Recipients will be included in the Feng Chia University Information and Communication Security Talent Database and receive priority recommendations for internships or employment at ZUSO Generation and partner companies.
